Update regarding Saturday, May 2; The Rally on Gettysburg Square this week will take place between 11 am and Noon. This may be the same hours for the month of May. It looks like these events will be during these hours moving forward indefinitely. We're double-checking that schedule.
Firstly; Weekly Rallies by the People have restarted after a winter pause. See the " Upcoming Events" page of this Site.
Secondly; The No Kings nationwide rally and protest held on Saturday, March 28 was a great success. We have follow-up actions to consider. We need to keep the momentum building. Visit the Indivisible national site or No Kings site to look for events to condider.
Thirdly; The next action is May Day of Action, on May 1. See the link: May Day of Action | Indivisible
The Hands Off Rally, No Kings Rally, and No Kings 2 and 3 Protests have been extremely successful. Each set of nationwide rallies were large, and each one was larger than the previous events. Three million, then five million, then seven million, then eight million participated across the U.S. It has been reported that No Kings 2 and then 3 were the largest peaceful protest in all of US history. We hope to continue to increase the number of peaceful protesters with each event until we reach and exceed the 3.5% target. More on that later.
We highly recommend any interested persons, and any not-interested persons, to join in the Indivisible's weekly "What's the Plan?" Zoom calls. They are informative, insightful, interesting and often fun. These calls are hosted by Leah and her husband Ezra, and are mostly Q&A after a brief summary of recent events. Leah and Ezra are former congressional staffers who formed Indivisible in 2017. They offer realistic, clear-headed, information and advice to local Indivisible groups and persons. They repeatedly say they "are not the leaders of Indivisible", but the local groups are the leaders.
